eCity allows you to initiate, negotiate, activate and monitor supplier contracts. Direct spending to contracts with strategic suppliers and reduce costs while improving product quality and delivery performance.
Use workflows to document the life of the contract. Alerts inform you when contracts are due for review or renewal.
Contracts include products, prices and can also specify minimum order values, affectivity dates, deliver to locations, payment and freight terms. Special deals and conditions can also be noted.
Purchase orders automatically default to the lowest unit price in effect. If this is a contract, the contract identifier ties the line to the contract. This link allows you to view amounts purchased to date and monitor compliance with contract terms and minimums.
