A keystone jack is a female connector used in data communications, particularly local area networks. The term keystone derives from the characteristic shape of the jack, resembling the modular plug used to connect telephone sets, fax machines and computer modems to conventional telephone lines.

The principal advantage of keystone connectors is their versatility. The jack is usually mounted in a wall plate or surface mounted box. Several types of keystone jack can be combined onto a single, multi-port wall plate.

The performance of our keystone jacks meet or exceed current TIA/EIA 568 industry standards for Cat 5E and Cat 6 data transmission. The jacks feature 90 degree or straight-back "110" terminations for easy, trouble free installations and accepts 22-26 AWG solid wire.
