The Noyes
Fiber Systems OFS 300 is a versatile instrument for field
or laboratory inspection of optical fiber connectors. By
employing a universal adapter interface, the OFS 300 offers
the ability to inspect virtually any connector style for scratches,
dirt, or
other problems normally associated with poor transmission
performance. The OFS 300-200 offers precision 200X magnification
to
easily inspect both multimode and singlemode fiber optic connectors.
The unique
design of the OFS 300 provides a compact, rugged, and easy
to use package. A non-removable laser safety filter
protects against the accidental viewing of a live fiber. The
OFS 300 operates from "AA" batteries for field use, or can
be operated
from an AC adapter for lab use.
Various
adapter caps are available (required for use) to convert the
universal adapter interface to a desired connector style.
A
instruction manual is included when ordering the OFS 300.

The Aerotech
Connector Inspector is designed for use as a maintenance tool
by operators of sophisticated fibre optic transmission equipment,
and as a final inspection tool by the equipment’s manufacturers.
It facilitates the inspection of front-panel/faceplate or
chassis backplane mounted fibre optic connector endfaces.
The AWT 100 features the classic 360mm probe, while both the
AWT 100 and 200 have a range of different interchangeable
probe tips to suit most connector and ferrule types.
