MECHANICAL
SPLICES
ULTRAsplice®
is a high performance, low cost, easy-to-install fully-mechanical
fiber optic splice. Employing a visible glass capillary
alignment member that is pre-loaded with an index-matching
gel, the user is able to inspect the fiber location during
installation. The splice is tunable and reusable for
most emergency (or permanent) installation requirements and
accepts buffers in a range from 250um to 900um. An average
splice takes only a few minutes. Please call our Sales Department

The
Rigid Plastic Holder is manufactured to be used with either
the ULTRAsleeve®, MASSsleeve® and most heat shrink
type sleeves.
The "holders" themselves have two small
"teeth", one on either side, that grab and retain the sleeve
in position without damaging the protector.
- Can
be used with either FS-40, FS-60,
MASSsleeve or heat shrink sleeves.
- Holds
up to 12 sleeves
- Pre-installed
adhesive allows placement most anywhere.
- The
sleeves will not come loose, even if jarred, but can be
removed
easily by the operator.
