Drive systems, such as those shown below, often satisfy the needs for powered rolls. Since the shaft connecting the two SLIMB bearings must be keyed, it cannot be used as a drive means for the roll. Hence, the driving element must be located on the end of the roll shell as shown. Variations of these examples may be fabricated to suit your specific needs.
