Overview
LuminousOptics offers a number of spectroradiometers and colorimeters
that offer unique testing and measuring capabilities beyond
our traditional photometric and radiometric integrating sphere
products. We are pleased to have strategic partnerships with
major manufacturers such as Instrument Systems GmbH and Topcon
to offer their extremely high-precision, high quality instruments.
Instrument Systems’ LumiCam 1300 Imaging Photometer
and Colorimeter
Instrument Systems has developed the LumiCam 1300 luminance
and colorimetry camera to meet the sophisticated needs of
manufacturers in taking measurements at flat-panel displays,
Led clusters and multifunction information displays. The high
resolution CCD image sensor of the LumiCam 1300 allows complex
luminance distributions be measured within seconds. Typical
applications of the LumiCam 1300 are in the automotive, aerospace
and general lighting industries. Available models include
the LumiCam 1300 for measuring luminance and the LumiCam 1300
Color to accommodate more complex luminance and color distributions.
All LumiCam 1300 Imaging Photometers and Colorimeters are
available in portable versions. Click here for a copy of the
LumiCam
1300 Brochure.
Topcon Luminance Colorimeters
LuminousOptics is the exclusive North American reseller for
the Topcon BM-7 and BM5A Colorimeters. The BM-7
Colorimeter is a fully integrated photometer/colorimeter
that automatically reads luminance and chromaticity coordinates
and color temperature in a single measurement by simply focusing
on the device to be measured and reading the LCD display.
The BM-5A is a highly sensitive microprocessor based photometer
that quickly computes and displays chromaticity values, luminance
and color temperature on a wide variety of displays and lighted
devices. It offers a simple, accurate operation that utilizes
a photomultiplier tube detector for maximum sensitivity at
low light levels.
LuminousOptics Spectroradiometric Test System
The SMS-700
Spectroradiometer is a stand-alone spectroradiometric
test system driven by an easy-to-use dedicated software program.
Complete spectral analysis is obtained at the click of a button.
A USB connection allows for easy computer interface to PCs
operating in either Windows 98 or Windows 2000.
LuminousOptics Contrast Measurement Systems
The LM-33-52
Contrast System is designed for testing as required by
MIL-L-85762A. The system consists of a direct light source
focusing 10,000 foot-candles at 5000° Kelvin on the display
surface, a diffuse light source providing 2000 FL 30°
off axis, and a Meter Mover to accommodate a photometer and
the test system light sources.
The IS-41C Contrast System is ideal for evaluating avionic
panels, switches, CRTs and flat panel displays where sunlight
contrast is a critical factor. IT includes a precision power
supply for the light sources and a removable viewing tube
for observing the test article at 30 degrees.
