Luminous Intensity, usually applied to point sources is the measure of flux per unit solid angle, this is reported in lumens/steradian which is equal to the candela (cd). This figure of merit is most commonly used to describe the "brightness" of LEDs. Radiant Intensity has units of Watts/steradian.
