Overview
LuminousOptics engineers have years of experience in designing
and manufacturing high value standard and customized luminance
and radiance standards. Our Luminance/Radiance integrating
sphere systems are microprocessor-controlled instruments with
multi-detector monitoring that achieve the highest accuracy
available from a sphere-based standard. All standard and custom
instruments are calibrated to National Institute of Standards
and Technology (NIST) platforms providing precise results
when calibrating photometers, radiometers, electronic imaging
devices and camera arrays.
Luminance/ Radiance Systems are available in sphere sizes
ranging from 4-inches (10.16cm) to 75-inches (1.90 m) in diameter
to accommodate various luminance and radiance output requirements.

Standards selection guide which will quickly help you
select the appropriate system for your application.
For customized solutions, use our Luminance/Radiance
System Worksheet to collect the appropriate information
for your application and measurement requirements. Our experienced
team of mechanical designers and optical engineers will work
with you to develop a system that meets your needs in both
performance and price.
Applications include:
- Calibration of Photometers and Radiometers
- Calibration for Spectral Radiance and Irradiance
- Calibration and testing of Electronic Imaging Devices
