LuminousOptics is please to offer the IPR-DES Series of Light Source Reference Standards developed by INPHORA – Institute of Photometry and Radiometry.

INPHORA Inc. was established in 1989 by Dr. Kathleen Muray, previously head of the Optical Metrology laboratory at Siemens Optoelectronics in Cupetino, CA. A typical “garage-company” started in the Silicon Valley, INPHORA began as a laboratory for calibration and optical measurements of filter-detector combinations. Over the years, INPHORA has developed new products and unique technologies for fabricating key components, such as CIE tristimulus filter/detector combinations for high precision color measurements, and light sources for reference standards.

The precision of these products and the ability to provide customers’ exactly their requested characteristics has made INPHORA a leading provider to the optical radiation measurement industry.
