中堅専門商社の光計測グループ全員が光計測に特化した会社設立を夢に独立。
2002年3月の設立だが、そのメンバーの光計測に関する知識、キャリアは十分にある。
米国オーシャンオプティックス社製超小型分光器を中心に活動してきたが今度 LuminousOptics Hoffman社製品を扱う事になり、さらに光計測の活動の場を広げる。

船木　眞悟　　代表取締役
大学卒業後22年間中堅専門商社の光関連部門にいた。
その間、科学計測用レーザー、光測定器、光通信用部品等幅広く光関連製品を扱い最終的には光部品営業部部長で退職、オーシャンフォトニクス株式会社を設立。

板倉　浩道　　営業課長
工学系専門学校卒業後、12年間中堅専門商社の光関連部門に所属。その間、３〜４年間を理科学用レーザーのメンテナンス部門を経て、理科学用レーザー、光計測器の営業。
オーシャンフォトニクス株式会社設立メンバー。

中司　渉　　営業技術
大学卒業後中堅専門商社に入社。5年間、光測定器、光通信部品、光通信シミュレーションソフトウェア等を扱う。その後退社し、オーシャンフォトニクス株式会社に入社。

保田　真人　　営業技術
大学卒業後6年間中堅専門商社の光関連部門にいて、分光器の営業をしていた。
その後退職。オーシャンフォトニクス株式会社 設立メンバー。

浅見　卓也　　営業技術
大学卒業後中堅専門商社に入社。４年間、光測定器及びその周辺機器を扱う。
その後退職。オーシャンフォトニクス株式会社 設立メンバー。

鈴木成子　広告、総務　
中堅専門商社で、コンピュータ技術部門、光関連部門に所属し営業アシスタントを務めた後、光計測器の広告業務を担当。新会社では、広告業務のほか総務、経理を担当している。オーシャンフォトニクス株式会社設立メンバー。
