In den Kalibrationslabors in USA und Deutschland kann LuminousOptics Hoffman nahezu alle optischen und spektroskopischen Kalibrationen kompetent durchführen.

Zertifizierungen

Die Kalibrationen und Messungen werden nach bestehenden Industrie- und Militärstandards ausgeführt.
Für Nachtsichtgeräte werden Messungen und Kalibrationen nach dem MIL-L-85762A US-Standard durchgeführt.
Für optische und spektroskopische Messungen gelten die Richtlinien nach ISO-10012-1.
In Einzelfällen kann die Kalibration auch extern durchgeführt werden.
Im industriellen Bereich sind die Kalibrationen rückführbar auf eines der nationalen Labors NIST, NPL oder PTB.

Luminance is the measure of luminous intensity applied to an extended source, it is expressed in terms of lumens/steradian per unit area. Luminance is reported in cd/m2 or cd/ft2 called the footlambert. Units of Radiance are expressed in Watts/steradian-m2.
