Learn More About Certifications Companies utilize certifications as a benchmark in recruiting and to assess additional training. Hiring companies support the test because certified technicians remain in the industry longer, do the job right the first time, and are believed to be more productive than non-certified ones. The entire industry supports national certifications: manufacturers, utilities, wholesalers, educators, technicians, contractors and trade associations. The Green Energy Technician program at NTI prepares students to pass the following certification exams:

  • Certified Employee Training (National Propane Gas Association)
  • Certified Building Analyst (Building Performance Institute)
  • Certified Solar Thermal Certification (Solar Thermal Institute)
