You can report wrongdoing through HR Hotline two
different ways – from this web site, or by
telephone. Either way takes only a few simple steps.
When you submit your report, HR Hotline gives
it a coded tracking number. Keep this number written
down in a safe place, in case you need it in the future.
When we receive your report, we forward it to
the appropriate person(s) at the organization you
report within one business day. HR Hotline makes
people aware of problems as quickly as possible.
You are always in control of the information
submitted, but please be aware that certain information
is required in order for us to properly channel your
complaint. You will be prompted for this information,
which usually includes:
- The company involved in the report
- The date(s) the incident(s) took place
- The company location at which the incident(s)
took place
- The person(s) you are making the report about
- The nature of your complaint
HR Hotline will not act on your behalf
other than to submit reports to the appropriate person(s).
We keep a copy of your report on file, to ensure proper
follow-through, and as back-up record in case further
action is necessary. We will provide you with copies
of your reports, upon request.
Every organization should contract HR Hotline services.
Those who do usually display signs in work areas, with
the HR Hotline web address and toll-free
phone number(s) listed.
HR Hotline promptly submits all reports, whether
or not the organization is a client.
If the organization involved in your report is not
an HR Hotline client, your suggestion
that it become one is a positive step you can take
to protect yourself, and to help improve organizational
behavior.
