The MPLS Forum is an international forum advancing the successful deployment
of multi-vendor MPLS networks and their associated applications. The Forum will
achieve this through interoperability initiatives, implementation agreements,
and education programs.

Engineering Task Force (IETF) |

The IETF is a large open international community of network designers, operators,
vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution of the Internet architecture
and the smooth operation of the Internet. It is open to any interested individual.
Vivace's Chief Technological Officer, Andrew Malis, is a veteran participant
on the Task Force, where he chairs the IP over Optical and Frame Relay Network
Management working Groups.

Internetworking Forum (OIF) |

The mission of the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) is to foster the development
and deployment of interoperable products and services for data switching and
routing using optical networking technologies.
The OIF will encourage co-operation among telecom industry participants including
equipment manufacturers, telecom service providers and end users; promote global
development of optical internetworking products; promote nationwide and worldwide
compatibility and interoperability; encourage input to appropriate national
and international standards bodies; and identify, select, and augment as appropriate
and publish optical internetworking specifications drawn from appropriate national
and international standards.
