On
the next page, look at the octave positions all over
the fret board. Now look at the simple pattern
that repeats.
I
printed out most of them so you can see for yourself
but left some out, so on the blank page, write the
rest of them out. This will show you how the pattern
repeats over and over. This will allow you to find
any note on the fret board at any time in any position.
Next,
drill yourself with a metronome or drum machine at
different speeds and locate all notes. Burn the patterns
into memory.
This
won't take long and is worth the effort. Trust
me.
You'll
never get lost again, on the fret board at least.
