RCDMT An automated, robotic charged device model ESD test system using either Direct Charge or Field Charge method, the RCDM tests devices of any configuration or geometry. Producing 'Real-World' CDM events, the RCDM provides positioning accuracy of 0.01mm. Consistent test head speeds, ground plane proximity and time between charge/discharge events assure uniform test results. Wide-view and close-up screens from a dual-view video camera provide easy pin location and programming. The RCDM Windowsâ -based application software provides a user-friendly interface for pin mapping, device definition and test plan generation.
