PARAGON

1024 PIN ESD AND LATCH-UP TEST SYSTEM

MEETS

ESD ASSOC. STM5.1-1998 AND 5.2 (Draft)

PLUS

JEDEC EIA/JESD22-A114 AND A115

STANDARDS

Lowell, Massachusetts, USA (February 16, 1999) - KeyTek, a division of Thermo Voltek, announced that the Paragon meets the Human Body Model (HBM) test requirements per ESD Assoc. STM5.1-1998, JEDEC EIA/JESD22-A114 AND A115, as well as the Machine Model (MM) test requirements per ESD Assoc. 5.2 (Draft) standard. The Paragon, a multi-capability ESD and Latch-Up test system for advanced integrated circuit evaluation also meets the requirements for HBM ESD testing per MIL-STD-883D, MM testing per EIA/J and latch-up testing per JEDEC's EIA/JESD 78 method.

The Paragon is a turnkey test system that allows IC manufacturers to test packages having up to 1024 pins for ESD and Latch-up susceptibility. With the ever increasing integration of tasks on single, smaller geometry devices, the real risk of device failure due to ESD significantly increases.

The Paragon is the only ESD test system on the market that allows manufacturers to test from simple to complex components, such as system-on-chip devices, per the major ESD and Latch-up standards and methods to assure product reliability and quality. And, with the ability to test up to 1024 pins, the Paragon not only meets the current needs of IC manufacturers, but also meets their future test requirements.

The Paragon is custom configurable. As company test requirements change, additional options can be added to the Paragon system in the field.

The Paragon is available 90 days from receipt of order at a starting price of $220,000 US.
