WILEVCO developed the first automatic batter mixer with viscosity control in 1955 to serve the emerging breaded fish stick industry. As the coating industry has expanded in scope and sophistication to include meat, poultry, vegetables, potatoes, various snack foods and other seafood, WILEVCO Systems have been refined to meet these growing needs. Recognition of changing needs and incorporation of proven technologies allow us to aid our customers in their efforts to produce quality products while holding costs in check.
WILEVCO has recently introduced digital controllers with electronic data acquisition and computer interface capabilities. These new controllers will allow important production temperature and viscosity information to be retrieved locally or remotely and entered directly into your spreadsheet software.

The WILEVCO CRYOLATOR® represents the ultimate in batter temperature control through the full range of viscosities. Our vertical swept surface heat exchanger was designed specifically for batter chilling in 1968, and has remained unequaled since its development. Thoughout the years, the CRYOLATOR® has been successfully utilized in a variety of temperature transfer applications including liquid process chilling of sauces, slurries and gravies.

With the rising cost of raw materials, increasing consumer awareness and adherence to good manufacturing practices, it is more important than ever to assure exact viscosity and temperature control of the batter. To accomplish precise control with quick response to changing conditions, WILEVCO Systems maintain a small volume of batter. The low shear mixing technique, accurate temperature control, and documented results provided by the recorder/controller set WILEVCO Systems apart from batch and mix-in-a-tub devices.
