In 1997 we changed our name from Nuclear Metals, Inc. to our new name, Starmet Corporation to better reflect the company's vision for new products and markets.

To better serve our customers and the global marketplace we created five new wholly owned subsidiaries:

Starmet NMI, LLC (Concord, MA)

Responsible for all government and commercial depleted uranium metal products.

Starmet Powders, LLC (Concord, MA)

Responsible for high purity metal powders and powder metallurgy business.

Starmet Aerocast, LLC (Concord, MA)

Responsible for all aerospace and government Beralcast® business.

Starmet Commercial Castings, LLC (Concord, MA)

Responsible for all commercial Beralcast® business.

Starmet CMI, LLC (Barnwell, SC)

Responsible for all advanced metal recycling technology and related uranium processing activities.

Starmet Corporation, the parent company, will continue to be responsible for corporate research and development as well as all specialty metals products (transition joints, extrusion services and beryllium tubing).
