Q. What is A.D.G.I.?
A. Advanced
Distance Guitar Instruction. After many years of gathering knowledge, Guitar School
developed A.D.G.I. to provide students with the tools to learn to play how and
what they want.
Q. I'm not convinced
that I can learn guitar through them mail without an instructor in front of me.
A. Most instructors
use the exact same lesson plan for each student, and teach for an average of 5
to 8 minutes. The rest is left up to you to go home with your guitar, try to remember
what was covered and practice. With A.D.G.I., a month of lesson plans based on
your personal playing level and musical taste is laid out for you week by week
by your own private instructor. Text, diagrams, pictures, charts, audiotapes,
CD's and videotapes will reinforce your personal, customized lesson plan.
Q. What do you mean
by "custom", and how do I get my lessons?
A. Lessons contain
anywhere from 40 to 75 pages of instruction created from scratch using the information
you provide about your experience, learning level, goals and music taste. Prior
to shipping, the President of Guitar School checks every lesson to make sure it
addresses the information you provided. Once you order, your lesson plan is shipped
to your doorstep within 24 hours.
Q. If I order lessons
for one month, do I have to keep ordering subsequent months.
A. No. You reorder
only when you are ready. Simply fill out the form to reflect your progress and
what you would like to work on, or call us toll free 1-800-877-LGUITAR (548-4827).
Q. I've never taken
a lesson. Will I be able to follow the A.D.G.I. program?
A. We have instructors
who specialize in teaching beginners. By the end of your very first week of the
monthly lesson plan, you will be able to play.
Q. My schedule is
very hectic, and I've wasted a lot of money on instruction books that I lost interest
in. Will this program work for me?
A. Yes. Unlike
instruction books, your learning program will be put together by a real instructor
who will be available to help you. The programs go month to month, and are developed
for you with the information you provide, so they will hold your interest. We
provide the program; you change it to suit your schedule.
Q. What happens if
I get stuck or don't understand something?
A. Call us toll
free 1-800-877-LGUITAR (548-4827) or e-mail us at info@learnguitar.net,
and we'll answer your question or help you through the rough spot right now.
