Principal Attorney

Burton S. Kliman

Mr. Kliman is a graduate of Brandeis University (B. A. summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 1978) and The National Law Center, George Washington University (J. D., Phi Delta Phi, 1981).  He has been practicing law since 1981 in all aspects of residential and commercial lending and is the owner of Kliman Law Offices, PC.  Mr. Kliman has acted as counsel to over one hundred national servicing companies and lending institutions, banks and mortgage lenders.  He has been extensively involved in the financing, loan servicing, relocation, and lending industry.

Mr. Kliman has spoken at conferences and seminars and has been involved with a number of educational and industry activities relating to loss mitigation; loan disclosure and reform; and RESPA compliance. He is a member of REOMAC, the Employee Relocation Council, the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association, and the National Mortgage Bankers Association of America, and the REO Managers Association of California.
