Lowell, MA
The City of Lowell is the fourth largest city in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has much to offer their residents. The 19th Century industrial mill buildings are now developed into executive class apartments and condomiums, while the old fashion neighborhoods seem to have disappeared from just about everywhere, fortunately Lowell is one of the few exceptions.
Lowell General Hospital and Saints Memorial Medical Center offer a full range of medical and surgical services. Sporting evens, theatre, Middlesex Community College and the University of Massachusetts Lowell are all a planned part of this urban community built around the Merrimack River.
Billerica, MA
The Town of Billerica is the only town in the United States to bear that name. Billerica's name sake is from the town of Billericay in Great Britian and is part of a kings grant of land.
Billeria is only 19 miles north of Boston, and with the MBTA (Boston's public transportation system) stop in North Billerica, Boston is only minutes away.
Billerica is a large community with a blend of history and high technology, farming and factories.
North Billerica, MA
North Billerica is one of nine villages in the Town of Billerica, and is the home of Faulkner and Talbot mills and the North Billerica Train Depot. The Middlesex Canal was built through the village in 1783.
North Billerica also referred to as the "Garden City" is located about 22 miles north-northwest of Boston along Route 3.
Dracut, MA
The Town of Dracut was named after Draycott, England. In 1653 the community was part of the Wameset Praying Town which was one of the preserves set aside by the Colonists for Christianized Indians. Dracut's early economy relied on fishing, lumbering and milling. Dracut was officially incorporated in 1701. The town has several large ponds, bogs and numerous bubbling brooks. Today it remains a suburban community located about 27 miles from Boston.
