SBCA Welcomes 2010 Board Members

Washington, D.C., October 14, 2009 -- The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) announced their 2010 Board of Directors.

The Board welcomes four new representatives to the Board of Directors: C. Scott Hisey, CEO of Unitek USA, Michael Scherr, President of CASE-SRS Distribution, Dave Robison, CEO of DSI Systems, and Lee Hess, Chairman of INSTALLS inc.  Returning to the Board in 2010 are Andrew Reinsdorf of DIRECTV, elected as Chairman, Lori Kalani of DISH Network, Vice Chairman, Greg Frasca of Sky Web Inc., Tom Haywood of Applied Instruments, and Vern Swedin of Pace Electronics.  “SBCA is excited to welcome the newest representatives who have been nominated to serve on our Board of Directors,” said Joseph Widoff, SBCA Executive Director.  “The commitment from these individuals on the Board will only serve to strengthen the satellite industry through their combined experience and knowledge.”
