SBCA to offer Fuel Discounts and Fleet Management to Member Companies

Washington, D.C., May 6, 2009 -- The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) announced a program to offer fuel discounts and fleet management services to its members.  This program is part of an agreement with Speedway SuperAmerica LLC’s SuperFleet® division, which has more than 6,000 participating service stations throughout the United States. In addition to discounts on fuel, participants will receive a discount of 15 percent on Valvoline Instant Oil Changes along with detailed reporting of vehicle usage. There is no set up, monthly or annual fees to participate in this program. As part of a promotional offer, any SBCA member company signing up with SuperFleet will receive an additional discount on their fuel bill for the first 90 days.

“Fuel costs and vehicle maintenance are some of the largest costs our members face. Our partnership with SuperFleet will offer our member companies the opportunity to achieve savings on these everyday expenses while providing reporting that will allow them to better manage their business. We will have a representative from SuperFleet at many of our upcoming events and look forward to introducing this exciting program to the industry.” stated Steve Hill, SBCA deputy executive director.

Mr. Hill went on to say, “The SBCA is actively using the strength of its membership base to create programs that offer group savings programs to all of our member companies. The agreement with SuperFleet is just one of many programs that we will be introducing in the coming months to enhance the value of being an SBCA member.”

Al Chakonas, manager of Fleet Sales for Speedway SuperAmerica LLC, stated, “We are proud to team up with the Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association to help deliver to their membership a fleet fueling solution through our SuperFleet program.  Whether in a single business or a large trade organization, SuperFleet is designed to help a fleet of vehicles, control fuel costs and share savings across the entire fleet membership while providing security and convenience.”
