SBCA Announces the Addition of Lori Kalani to the 2007 Board of Directors

Washington, D.C., July 3, 2007 -- The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) is pleased to announce the addition of Lori Kalani, Corporate Counsel for Echostar, to its 2007 Board of Directors. 

Ms. Kalani, who brings a wealth of legal and regulatory affairs knowledge to the Board of Directors, will fill the board position previously held by EchoStar’s recently retired General Counsel and Executive Vice President David Moskowitz. “The SBCA is truly vital to the industry’s continued growth and I am excited to be a part of it,” said Kalani.  “I have always been a big supporter of the organization and I hope to help it continue to move forward.”

According to the SBCA Chairman of the Board, Mary Davidson, Kalani has been very active in the organization over the past several years.  “We are thrilled to have Lori serve on the SBCA Board of Directors,” said Davidson.  “She was very instrumental in helping the SBCA reorganize several years ago and has shown tremendous support for our mission.”

Ms. Kalani will begin her term on the Board of Directors effective immediately.
