SBCA to Offer Technician Membership

Washington, D.C., August 7, 2006 -- The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) will offer a technician level membership to individual satellite installers and technicians. The membership ensures individual installers have access to the association.

“The new technician membership class was created based on the feedback we received from many individuals at trade events and through a recent membership survey. Previously technicians had to join as a retail member which is structured more for companies with multiple employees.” said Martin Esteves, SBCA Membership Manager. “By creating this new membership category, there are thousands of independent technicians who can now receive the benefits of the association.”
