SBCA and Coyne American Institute Team Up to Offer Residential Certification Classes

Washington, D.C., June 22, 2006, -- The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) has announced a partnership with Coyne American Institute located in Chicago, IL to incorporate SBCA’s National Standards and Testing Program (NSTP) Residential Certification course into their Electronic Systems Technician program.

“SBCA is pleased to have Coyne American Institute as a partner offering the satellite industry’s certification program,” said SBCA Executive Director Patricia Sumler. “SBCA is working with its members to develop partnerships with regional technical colleges throughout the country as they provide a great avenue for our members to hire qualified technicians,” Sumler said.

The Electronic Systems Technician, more commonly known as EST, is a career that enables you to utilize multiple residential and commercial skills needed in the industries of electronics, fiber optics, security systems, audio/video, communications systems, cabling/networking along with computers and related applications.
