SBCA Launches Ka/Ku on line certification

Washington, D.C., May 9, 2006 -- The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) today announced its launch of the Ka/Ku band on line certification module.

The course focuses on Ka/Ku satellite technology, antenna installation, and troubleshooting. It is designed to provide satellite technicians additional knowledge regarding this new technology. Technicians who have current SBCA Residential and Commercial certification through the SBCA can register for the course for $25.

The SBCA is working with its members to develop product and platform specific modules to address new technology developments throughout the industry.
