SBCA ANNOUNCES 2006 BOARD OF DIRECTORS Washington, D.C., March 28, 2006 -The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) is pleased to announce the results of its 2006 Board of Directors and officers elections. The newly elected seven-member board held its first meeting on March 8. Mary Davidson, senior director of Business Operations in the Field Services Division of DIRECTV, Inc., was selected to serve as chairman. Davidson began her career in the satellite industry in 1995 and brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the position. “I’m honored to lead a board of such capable industry veterans,” said Davidson. “And I’m looking forward to a great year as the Board identifies additional ways for the SBCA to contribute to the growth and success of the satellite industry.” In addition to her duties as Chair, Davidson will represent DIRECTV on the SBCA’s Executive Committee. David Moskowitz of Echostar will serve as secretary and Curt Glissendorf of WireGuyz.com will serve as treasurer. Other board members include Bill Fogarty of The Weather Channel, John “Chip” Yodzis of Dow Electronics, Greg Frasca of Sky Web, Inc., and Anthony Accardo of CONNECT Television. Each elected member will serve a one-year term on the SBCA Board of Directors. The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association is the national trade organization representing all segments of the satellite industry. It is committed to expanding the utilization of satellite technology for the broadcast delivery of video, audio, data, music, voice, interactive, and broadband services.
