SBCA: Commissioner Adelstein to Keynote 2005 Media LawForum WASHINGTON, DC, Feb. 3, 2005 – The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) today announced that Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner Jonathan S. Adelstein will keynote SBCA’s Media LawForum on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Adelstein was sworn in for a new five-year term at the Commission December 6, 2004. He has served on the five-member commission since December 2002 when he was specially appointed. Adelstein, who is originally from South Dakota, has shown great interest in rural issues facing the FCC and other issues that are of importance to the consumer satellite industry. The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association is the national trade organization representing all segments of the satellite industry. It is committed to expanding the utilization of satellite technology for the broadcast delivery of video, audio, data, music, voice, interactive, and broadband services.
