CAMDEN PROPERTIES CEO RICHARD CAMPO TO ADDRESS SkyFORUM AUDIENCE ON MDU ISSUE

ALEXANDRIA, VA, September 1, 1999 - The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) and SkyTRENDS today announced that Richard Campo, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Camden Property Trust, will address SkyFORUM attendees on multiple dwelling unit (MDU) issues. Mr. Campo will speak at 9:40 a.m. as part of the 12th semi-annual SkyFORUM satellite/ financial symposium, to be held Thursday, Sept. 16 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.

"Ric has been in the real estate business for more than 20 years," noted Bill Burhop, Executive Director of Independent Cable and Telecommunications Association (ICTA), and co-developer of SBCA/ICTA MDU programs. "Ric’s insights into the MDU marketplace should prove invaluable to those in the satellite industry looking to build relationships with leading building owners and managers."

Campo has served as chairman of the board and CEO of Camden Property Trust (traded CPT on the NYSE) since May 1993. He was co-founder of Camden’s predecessor companies in 1982. Campo has been involved in development, management, acquisition and disposition of real estate properties valued in excess of $5 billion. Campo is a graduate of Oregon State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

The semi-annual SkyFORUM satellite/ financial symposium will be held Thursday, Sept. 16 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.
