CitraTest® APM is an all encompassing APM solution that addresses the needs of End-to-End Response Time Monitoring,
Application Monitoring based on the Real User Experience, Availability Monitoring and Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Enforcement for EVERY application across an organization. With Tevron's proprietary monitoring technology,
no application is left behind.
"Best-in-Class companies identified by Aberdeen surveys and interviews were found to be twice as likely as others to
manage deployed services proactively. This demonstrates and underscores how solutions such as Tevron's CitraTest APM
can help companies to maximize the business value of their IT investments by monitoring application performance
proactively and comprehensively."

Are your applications available, responsive & healthy?
When it comes to determining the health of an application, there are only two metrics that mean something to everyone:
Response Time & Availability. For many years, response time & availability metrics have been included in design
objectives for application development and have been included in service level agreements. Yet, many organizations
cannot measure the response times being achieved at the locations where the application "consumer" resides. How many
times has a user reported to the helpdesk that response time with a certain application is slow, only to be told
"the response time on the machine looks fine from here"?
A single APM Solution with Support for All Applications
So why have IT organizations been slow to react to this problem? From legacy applications, to client server applications,
to web applications, to home-grown custom applications; most IT organizations have hundreds of different applications
to support. To date, the majority of APM vendors only offer products for specific, popular applications. As a result,
several different APM vendors and products are typically used and many internal applications go unsupported. Until now,
there hasn't been a single product available that can keep up with supporting all the different applications, development
environments and protocols that are used by both legacy and modern systems. The cost of purchasing and maintaining
several different products to support a total application environment would be simply too high. CitraTest APM® solves this dilemma.
Proactive, Consistent, & Real
CitraTest APM® periodically executes synthetic transactions, taking response time measurements along the way. By automating the
driving of an application just like a real user at the client end, CitraTest APM® can ensure that all critical aspects of an application
or service are available and working within limits and if not, generate an alert. Using the synthetic transaction model provides the
benefits of being both pro-active and consistent. For example, an application can be actively monitored before the actual users
access that application thereby alerting IT operations before the pain of any business impact is felt.
How does CitraTest APM support ALL applications?
CitraTest APM® uses the same elements as a user when interacting with an application: visually examining the desktop and responding
to changes, driving the keyboard and driving the mouse. To interact with an application a user must look for a remembered image on the
desktop, move the mouse pointer or cursor to it, type keystrokes or click the mouse buttons, wait for the next event to occur on the
desktop. CitraTest APM® works in the exact same fashion.
CitraTest APM® utilizes a very sophisticated & proprietary image recognition system to replicate the actions of a real user in
terms visually analyzing every aspect of the desktop. Just like a user, CitraTest APM® does not need to "see" an image in exactly the
same location each time. CitraTest APM® will 'look' at the entire desktop and when an image needs to be clicked, CitraTest APM® simply
moves the mouse from its current location to the desired image and issues the appropriate mouse action, just like a real user.
CitraTest APM® also automates keystrokes in the same way that a user types on the keyboard. The simplicity of using just these 3 elements,
desktop visualization, keyboard and mouse, is what gives CitraTest APM® the unmatched power & flexibility to operate with ANY application
that is accessible from a Windows based PC.
No Application is Left Behind
CitraTest APM is the only monitoring solution that can actively monitor every application that is accessible from a Windows PC.
These applications & environments include all custom applications, home-grown applications, green screen applications, web applications,
Java, Cerner Millennium, Tarantella, XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop, Citrix Presentation Server, Citrix Metaframe, VMWare, Virtual PC, Terminal
Services, Terminal Server, Propalms, SAP, Oracle, Siebel, all client server applications, thick client, all Terminal Emulation modes
(3270, 5250, VT100, etc.), PeopleSoft, .NET, and Progress Software, to name a few. Knowing the overall end-to-end performance and availability
of EVERY application across the enterprise on a real-time basis is critical for the success of any business.
Non-intrusive
Unlike most APM products, CitraTest APM® is totally non-intrusive to the production environment. Absolutely no elements of CitraTest APM®
are installed on any application or database servers, thereby making CitraTest APM® fully non-intrusive and independent of the application
environment, just like a real user.
