The resources to design, develop, and manufacture custom metallurgical solutions

One of our earliest developments was bimetallic transition joints. These coextruded joints permit two dissimilar metals to be seamlessly connected in a metallurgical bond that is stronger than either of its components. This hardware is invaluable for many aerospace applications where conventional joining techniques are impractical or impossible.

Starmet has been an acknowledged leader in the development of advanced extrusion services for reactive and refractory metals. Our equipment and experience is available for customer research and development programs, as well as for limited production items.
