Occupational Therapy
The goal of occupational therapy is to assist each individual in attaining their highest level of functioning in the performance of the activities of daily living and in strengthening upper body function.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES INDLUDE:
- Increasing skills in the activities of daily living (ADL’s) such as grooming,
bathing, dressing and eating
- Evaluation and training in the use of adaptive equipment
- Upper extremity strengthening for increased range of motion
- Evaluation for the use of orthotics to aid function and prevent deformities
- Low vision programs
