Introduction :

Cambridgeport Bank offers both existing business customers and non-CPB business customers the ability to process card payments transactions. This Merchant Card service allows businesses\merchants the option to accept payments via credit, debit, ATM, or EBT Card.

Cambridgeport Bank has an agreement with EFS National Bank to provide interested businesses with the set-up, support and processing of card sales transactions. EFS Bank is based in Memphis TN and specializes in merchant service processing for companies and agent banks across the nation.

CARD PAYMENT PROCESSING FEATURES

• Payment options that appeal to various client demographics: MasterCard, VISA, American Express and EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer)
• Guaranteed transactions debited from a DDA amount: Direct Debit, ATM
• Flat rate transaction fee: Direct Debit, ATM and EBT
• Funds are credited directly to the business customer's checking account via ACH
• Leasing and purchase of terminals and printers are available

How to set up an account:

The business (Merchant) must complete an application to apply for an EFS account. These forms can be obtained by visiting any one of our ten branch locations.

Timing: From the time applications are received, the entire process takes about 2 ½ weeks to get terminals and printers and all paperwork processed.
