Dr. Kristen Banek attended Miami University (Ohio) and completed her Bachelor's of Arts degree with a double major in microbiology and Spanish. She then went on to achieve her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University.

Before becoming the owner of Brighton Eye Associates, she worked for a private optometry practice in Virginia. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists. Dr. Banek provides comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis of ocular diseases such as cataracts, macular degeneration, and glaucoma, and specialty contact lens fittings. Because the practice is affiliated with TLC LASIK Vision Institute, Dr. Banek also can determine candidates for laser correction and handle post-operative care. She has enjoyed becoming a part of the community of Brighton and looks forward to continuing to serve the area's residents.
