Gold to Green Parties are social events for fun or charity that allow attendees to sell their unwanted gold items for cash, to a reputable gold dealer, and at a fair price. The parties donate 15 percent of revenues made from the event, and attendees have the option of donating the proceeds from their own gold sales.

Tyngsboro resident Lorraine Neofotistos and her daughter, Jessica, held a Gold to Green fundraiser at their home Feb. 28, which raised over $400 for The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure (a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a personal difference in the fight against breast cancer http://ww5.komen.org/).
