Lumber
Wood's beauty, flexibility, and strength make it an ideal building material. It has natural insulating and humidifying properties, making wood-framed buildings more comfortable. And, when used according to building codes, industry standards, and manufacturer instructions, it can withstand hurricane winds and earthquakes.
Products
We're proud to be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, meaning we sell lumber from forests managed to stringent environmental, social, and economic standards. Not all our lumber is FSC certified, so if you want FSC certified lumber, you must request it.
We carry various lengths of kiln-dried spruce in 4", 6", 8", 10", and 12" thicknesses.
We carry fire-treated lumber from Hoover Treated Wood Products, Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of fire-treated wood products. We stock 4", 6", and 8" thicknesses in various lengths.
Our fire-treated 4'x8' plywood is also from Hoover, and comes in ¾", ½", and 5/8" thicknesses.
Our fire-treated blocking is 15.75" and 23.75" for compatibility with 2' or 16" on center framing.
