Summary:
Working under direct supervision of the Store Manager, the role of the Assistant Manager is to assist the Store Manager with the leadership of the store and the management of the Apparel Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding all established store and individual goals
  • Responsible for managing, merchandising and training the Apparel Department
  • Maintain dialogue with respective buyers and manage the department inventory
  • Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations
  • Train staff in all areas of store operations, standards, products and procedures
  • Ensure proper processing and display of merchandise
  • Oversee and monitor shrink reduction plans
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Manage daily activity of the sales floor
  • Assist in all store functions as needed
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2+ years' retail management experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive, customer first attitude
  • Strong merchandising and supervisory skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Summary: 

Working under direct supervision of the Store Manager, the Cashier is an integral part of Ski Market’s retail team and will display a positive, enthusiastic attitude that reinforces Ski Market’s number one priority:  Customer Service.  Knowledge of Ski Market’s categories and products is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Commit to and support store and individual sales goals
  • Efficiently handle cash, check and charge sales
  • Process returns and exchanges
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of all register transactions
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures regarding sales, exchanges, returns
  • and cash handling
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and providing
  • assistance with basic questions about store operations or product

 Qualifications:

  • Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or GED
  • Able to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Summary:

Working under direct supervision of the Service Manager, the role of the Shop Technician is to carry out assembly, repair and maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Commit to and support store and individual sales goals
  • Acquire technical knowledge, record keeping and mechanical skills to perform assembly, repair and maintenance of equipment
  • Achieve and maintain manufacturers' certification requirements
  • Maintain a knowledgeable and courteous manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Exhibit proper use and care of tools
  • Provide sales floor assistance as required
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in tuning and repairing skis, snowboards and bicycles required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
