Co-Op Quality Engineering Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting with quality assurance or test engineering support to ensure that products are designed and manufactured in accordance with QS 9000, customer and quality requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Assist with internal audits and documentation (inspection plans, material review system, corrective action databases).
- Assist with product design verifications and reviewing quality trends.
- Assist with design of test equipment, hardware and software, documenting and preparing appropriate test procedures.
- Assist with analysis of testing results.
Additional Responsibilities:
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be a student working toward a BS in an engineering discipline.
- Computer skills in an MS Windows environment, familiarity with spreadsheets and project management software required.
- Familiarity with or exposure to DOE, FMEA, capability studies, geometric tolerancing, statistics, and C programming preferred.
