NHLI: Exhibits of Practice

During the first two years of the project, some of our partners acquired digital video equipment and began developing their expertise with digital video creation. During year two, teams from both IHE and K12 partners attended basic digital video training sessions facilitated by one of our partner, SERESC. With the assistance of one of our model school partners (Bow School District), a growing library of digital video clips in both QuickTime and RealPlayer format is available for public viewing. In Year Three, a team from each participating IHE will choose a methods or other education course syllabi and then identify one or more instructional strategies using technology that can be depicted in digital video (DV) format with accompanying documentation (e.g., lesson plan, student work, assessment rubric, standards, worksheets, teacher created materials, research). IHE faculty will partner with a K12 mentor teacher who can model this strategy and is available to assist in the creation of this DV exhibit. Each participating IHE is required to create at least one DV exhibit per four participating faculty for publication to the newly launched New Hampshire Learning Interchange. Additional exhibits are encouraged. Examples of the organization and content of useful exhibits can be seen by visiting the Apple Learning Interchange website. DV teams are required to attend a DV Exhibits of Practice Series (not consecutive days). If a team participant attended DV training days one and two that were offered in year two, they are only required to attend days 3 and 4:
