The Joint Personal Property Shipping Office of the U.S. Department of Defense recently recognized McLaughlin Mayflower Moving as an outstanding transportation service provider. The JPPSO is tasked with coordinating the moving of all personal property for U.S. military personnel.

According to Russell DiPietro, Deputy Director of JPPSO/Northeast, at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA, recognition is made annually to moving companies who provide outstanding service to military personnel and receive high marks for customer satisfaction. The awards were first instituted in 2007.

Of the more than 900 transportation providers that the Northeast office contracts with, McLaughlin Transportation was among only 10 who provided a level of service befitting an award. “McLaughlin takes the initiative and goes above and beyond,” said DiPietro. “That’s very important to us, because our armed forces personnel deserve a quality move.”
