Diffuse Reflectance Coating Services are provided for any quantity from single component to high-volume OEM needs.  Labsphere proprietary coating processes include surface preparation, masking and coating to desired reflectance specifications. Six diffuse reflectance coatings are offered for specific applications, including Spectraflect, Duraflect, Duraflect-II, Infragold, Infragold LF, and Optoblack.

With a dedicated Reflectance Research Laboratory and extensive optical and mechanical engineering capabilities, we can respond quickly to the volume and price levels you require. Our technical sales staff will work with you to determine the most effective and cost-efficient coating for your application. The scientists in our Reflectance Research Laboratory are continually developing, testing and improving reflectance coatings and processes to provide a variety of quality products to meet your needs.

Labsphere’s proprietary coating processes include surface preparation, masking, coating, and testing to desired reflectance specifications. Coatings are applied in a dedicated coating facility by highly-trained, certified coating technicians. This assures that we will produce consistently high-quality, contaminant-free products that meet or exceed your expectations. We will coat your component, or work with you to design and fabricate components made of metal or plastic, which can be coated with our high-reflectance coatings. 

Customer-Site Coating Services

Labsphere offers customer-site coating services for special application situations. Using state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained coating technicians, we pride high-quality service and workmanship at your facility. Customer-site services include surface preparation, masking and coating to desired reflectance specification. Examples of a few of our recent customer-site coating applications include coating a reflectance wall panel at a major automotive manufacturing facility, and coating a ninety-six inch diameter integrating sphere at a national lighting research laboratory. Custom Reflectance Coating Development

Labsphere is well known in the industry for producing the highest quality diffuse reflectance coatings. Our ongoing research in reflectance coatings, combined with our expertise in coating techniques, continue to help us meet our customers' changing technological needs. With a dedicated Reflectance Research Laboratory, we can help you explore a variety of concepts to meet your requirements.
