Optoblack is a high lambertian coating ideal for optical component applications ranging from the ultraviolet through the infrared regions. The coating exhibits excellent light absorption properties necessary for stray light control, thermal control, and visual target cues.

Optoblack is a water-based coating that is suitable for applying to rigid plastics and metals. The coating is not recommended for extremely high temperature applications. Optoblack is extremely durable making it suitable for both ground and space-based applications.
