Course Outline
Course Objectives
Throughout this course the Designated Maintenance Technician (DMT) will learn how to troubleshoot and maintain the FSIR Sensor using established EGS Gauging Inc. techniques. The DMT will be able to locate and solve sensor problems with minimal support from EGS Gauging Inc. This course provides the DMT with sensor knowledge through lecture, discussion, and hands on training.
Prerequisites
The
DMT must have attended Designated Maintenance
Technician training; EGS Gauging Course 160 and must know
and understand the machine process. Duration
Classes begin on Tuesday at 8:30 AM and will conclude on Thursday.
Friday is an answer and question period for the students with the instructor.

Evaluation
Each
attendee will take a 60-minute examination covering
safety issues, operational issues and common troubleshooting
procedures. Results of the exam will be available
for customer review. Upon successful completion
of the course, the attendee will receive a Course
Certificate.

FSIR Source Lamp Replacement
Takes the student through the steps necessary
to restore proper measurement after a source lamp
change.
Troubleshooting
Practical experience in diagnosing and correcting
problems with the FSIR sensor.

CClasses are held at EGS Gauging Inc. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis and must be made no less than two weeks before the scheduled class. Course
Cost:
$2750.00 per person, all others attending
the same class at $250.00 discount. Course cost does not include travel and
living expenses.
Cancellations:
There will be a 20% cancellation fee applied
to all students canceling within three weeks of
a course, and a 50% fee for all "no-shows."
Reschedule:
EGS Gauging Inc. reserves the right to reschedule a class if there are less than 3 participants.
