CIMLine Maintenance
Training
Course
Outline
Course
Objectives
Throughout this course Designated Maintenance Technician (DMT) will learn how to troubleshoot and maintain your CIMline System using established EGS Gauging Inc. techniques. The DMT will be able to locate and solve both process and system problems with minimal support form EGS Gauging Inc. This course provided the DMT with system knowledge through lecture, discussion and hands on training.
Prerequisites
The DMT must have basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and be proficient in the use of a volt/ahm meter. The candidate must know and understand the machine process and be able to read and comprehend schematic drawings. This person must be attentive to detail and be willing to stick with a problem until either the problem is resolved or there is mutual agreement between EGS Gauging Inc. Representative and the DMT to continue at a later time. Additionally, the DMT must have the ability to work with other persons involved in the use of the CIMline System (Prime User Operator) and have the ability to train others to provide the same level of system support. Finally this person must have sufficient written and verbal communication skills to enable him or her to provide proper and complete record keeping (e.g. maintain the system logbook) and also convey detailed information over the telephone.
