We make lamps ranging in length from 5 to 70 inches and output power of 200 to 800 WPI, in mercury, metal halide and gallium.

Lamps are the heart of the UV system,
providing the UV energy to initiate
and complete the curing process.

MERCURY LAMPS are typically used with shallow or transparent coatings that need short energetic wavelengths for curing. Though energetic, these shorter wavelengths are not useful when a deep, penetrating cure is required. Peak emissions for mercury include 254, 315, 365 and 436 nm.

METAL HALIDE lamps are used with thick pigmented coatings and inks, or in instances where a deep, penetrating cure is needed. Metal halide lamps excel in the wavelength range of 330 to 400 nm, with several peaks in the 350 to 400 nm range.

GALLIUM provides the ultimate in long wavelength, and the deep penetrating cure needed with very think pigmented materials. Peak emissions for gallium occur in the 400 to 450 nm range, with especially high peaks in the 400 to 420 nm area.
