control are not possible with The I / O Switchbox w/ PLC configuration links the UV system to your controller through a switchbox and PLC that resides in the power supply cabinet. Some residual function and display capability such as lamp on/ off and status indicators are still accessible at the system panel, but otherwise complete operation of the UV system, and information about its status, is obtained through your controller. |
Our PLC w/ Touch Screen option provides
the ultimate in
control capabilities and flexibility.
With an intuitive program and easy-to-follow screens, the system can be programmed for automatic and unattended operation through the touch screen. The touch screen can be mounted on the power supply cabinet, or at a more convenient remote location. The touch screen provides easy access to all control parameters, and displays any information concerning system status and alarms. The PLC can also be interfaced to your controller, providing an ideal range of control options such as local, remote or both. In this configuration, even though the PLC has been linked to your controller, the touch screen will still display system information, and can be setup so that you can still change system control parameters via the touch screen.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION
Eye Ultraviolet provides system integration
on two levels -
integration of the system components and
integration of the system with your processing equipment.
Since the UV components are of our own design and manufacture, there are no integration issues - all of the components are designed together to work together, and they do. You don't need to check with lamp manufacturer A to make sure that the lamp will work well with a power supply from manufacturer B, or vice versa.
All of our systems are integrated
and tested as a system,
and the performance verified, before being shipped to you.
Whether it's a draw tower or a printing press - a coating line or a powder chamber - our irradiators are designed to easily mount to your process equipment and fit in the space provided. If you have any questions in this regard, simply provide us with an engineering drawing of the mounting area on your process equipment and we'll do the rest. We also make complete conveyorized systems. The rest of the UV system essentially consists of the power supply / control cabinet which, through remote control capabilities, can be placed almost anywhere in your facility.
