Brian Breton began his marching and musical career as a Drum Major at New Bedford High School where he won 4 consecutive NESBA Championships. In college, he began his Drum and Bugle Corps career with the Spartans of Nashua, NH. He performed in both the Brass Section and the World Championship Colorguard of the Spartans. After aging out, with two gold medals and two “Best Colorguard Titles”, he returned to the NESBA circuit to teach both the Stoughton, MA High School Colorguard and the Reading, MA High School Winterguard. Brian is a 2007 graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Lowell, where he received his degree in Music Education. He currently continues study there for his Master’s Degree in Music Education. Brian is excited to be a part of the 2008 East Coast Jazz season.

John Pacheco Co Caption Head
 
John Pacheco started his marching career with the Joseph Case High School Cardinal Marching Band. There, John performed in the Winter Guard and was Drum Major for two seasons.  He went on to attend the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he was a member of the Minuteman Marching Band for five years.  While with UMMB, John performed in Bands of America Grand Nationals and all state high school championships in the New England area.  While still in college, John joined St. John’s of Beverly where he continued to march for four years winning the 2004 Independent Open WGI Championships.  John also marched in DCI Division I, with Spirit from Jacksonville State University in 2003.  He has been on the design staff for many organizations.  In 2005, John instructed the St. John’s B Guard who competed in the EMass Circuit and the Wakefield High School Colorguard who competed in the MICCA circuit as well. John is the currently a co-instructor for the Stoughton High School Colorguard for 2007 and is excited to take on his new position at East Coast Jazz for the 2008 season
