The Data Communications
Group of Hammer Technologies is pleased to announce that a new distribution
of ANVL is now available to support customers!
This maintenance
release improves the stability and quality of one of our most widely used
test suites, OSPF.
If you have
a current support contract and are interested in the new OSPF release,
please respond to this message. If your support has expired, or you are
unsure of the status of your support contract, you may also respond to
this message and we will contact you.
We will make
the maintenance release available via web download. Upon receiving your
request for the new release, we will place your request in queue, and contact
you to let you know how to access the software. Each ANVL distribution
is customized, so we will serve our customers on a first-come, first-served
basis. We expect to be able to accommodate everyone within a few weeks.
In addition
to the enhancements to the OSPF test suite, Release 3.3 offers two new
TCP test suites (Advanced and Performance), two new IPSec test suites (AH
and ESP) and Gigabit Ethernet capability over Linux. The Advanced
TCP suite includes over 40 tests as specified in RFCs 2001, 2581, 1191
and 2385. The Performance TCP suite includes over 50 tests as specified
in RFC 1323, 2018, half-close and RTO. These two suites can be purchased
individually, or in addition to the TCP core suite that was included in
Release 3.2.
Release 3.3
also includes our first two IPSec test suites, Authentication Header and
Encapsulated Security Payload. The Authentication Header suite includes
40 tests as specified in RFC 2402. The Encapsulated Security Payload
suite includes 60 tests as specified in RFC 2406. The Gigabit Ethernet
interface, TCP suites and IPSec suites are not included under the maintenance
release. However, they can be added to your existing license by purchasing
them through your local sales representative. Please contact Hammer
at 888-888-8888 for pricing details.
